MEET EMILY ECKART
Hello there! I'm Emily Eckart, and I'm a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist born and raised in Saskatoon. I have a unique blend of expertise working with both children and adults, supporting speech development and providing myofunctional therapy in Saskatoon and North Battleford.
I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Disorders from Minot State University in 2017. For eight years, I worked in a private practice setting with a company, gaining extensive experience before launching my own independent practice. Alongside this, I’ve been providing contract speech therapy services to schools and communities in and around North Battleford, as well as across Saskatchewan, with a strong focus on meeting local needs and supporting underserved areas.
In 2020, I specialized in orofacial myology at the Swallowing, Voice & Speech Rehab Clinic in Brampton, Ontario. Since then, I’ve continued to expand my expertise through ongoing training and research focused on the anatomy and function of the face, mouth, and airway to deliver effective myofunctional therapy to my clients.
When I'm not working, I'm at home doing a project with my husband, building our dream home, or keeping my plant babies alive!
